Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using our website uthandomp.co.za (the "Website") and any services, content, features, or products offered through the Website, you (the "User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Website. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and UMP Creative & Development Services, also trading as UMP (Uthando Multi-Projects) ("we," "our," or "us").
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. The date of the most recent revision is displayed at the bottom of this page.
Use of Website
The Website and its content are provided for general informational, promotional, and business engagement purposes only. By using the Website, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age or are accessing the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Our Services
UMP Creative & Development Services is a multi-disciplinary service provider based in Orange Farm, Johannesburg, South Africa. We offer the following professional services, subject to individual service agreements and project-specific terms:
- Music Production: Professional composition, arrangement, recording, mixing, and mastering services by licensed SAMRO-affiliated industry specialists.
- PA Sound Systems: High-fidelity sound reinforcement, system design, setup, and operational support for events of all scales.
- Photography: Commercial, event, portrait, and product photography services with professional editing and post-production.
- Venue Decoration: Bespoke creative space transformation for corporate events, weddings, private functions, and special occasions.
- Soccer Programs: Elite sports development, coaching, talent scouting, tournament organization, and team management.
- Catering Services: Customized culinary solutions including platter arrangements, full-service catering, and event menu planning for corporate and private functions.
Each service engagement is governed by a separate service agreement or quotation that specifies project scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, payment terms, and any service-specific terms and conditions. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a specific service agreement, the service agreement shall prevail.
Service Quotations & Agreements
All quotations provided by UMP are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. Quotations are based on the information provided by the client at the time of request and may be subject to revision if project scope or requirements change.
Upon acceptance of a quotation, a service agreement will be drafted outlining the specific terms, deliverables, payment schedule, and cancellation policy applicable to that engagement. No services will commence until a signed service agreement is in place and any required deposit has been paid.
Clients agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information required for the performance of services. UMP shall not be liable for delays or deficiencies resulting from incomplete or inaccurate client information.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in each service agreement or quotation. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following general payment terms apply:
- A deposit of 50% of the total quoted amount is required to confirm and schedule services.
- The remaining balance is due upon completion of services or as specified in the service agreement.
- Payments may be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT), cash deposit, or other methods as agreed in writing.
- Late payments may incur additional charges at a rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- UMP reserves the right to withhold deliverables or suspend services in the event of non-payment.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation terms are specified in each service agreement. The following general cancellation policy applies unless otherwise agreed:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled service date: full refund of deposit, less an administrative fee of 10% of the total quoted amount.
- Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled service date: 50% refund of deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled service date: no refund of deposit.
- UMP reserves the right to cancel any engagement with full refund in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content, materials, and intellectual property on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, page layout, and software, is the property of UMP Creative & Development Services, its affiliates, or its content suppliers and is protected by South African and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Website without our prior written consent, except as follows:
- Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
- You may store files that are automatically cached by your web browser for display enhancement purposes.
- You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.
With respect to work product created for clients during service engagements, intellectual property ownership and licensing terms are specified in the applicable service agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, UMP retains the right to display commissioned work in our portfolio and marketing materials.
Trademarks
The UMP name, logo, taglines, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of UMP Creative & Development Services or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on this Website are the trademarks of their respective owners.
User Content and Communications
Any information, messages, files, or other materials you submit through our Website, including through the contact form or email communications, shall be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. By submitting content, you grant UMP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, and publish such content for the purpose of providing services to you and improving our business operations.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Website shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of South Africa, located in Johannesburg. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or any service engagement, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation administered by a recognized mediation service in Johannesburg, South Africa. If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may pursue legal remedies as provided under South African law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable service agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and UMP regarding the use of the Website and supersede any prior agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions.
Waiver
No waiver by UMP of any term or condition set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of UMP to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
